since my childhood I have been a keen fan of the ever green romantic pair uttam-suchitra. I am in my mid fifties ans still enjoy the films of the this great pair, the world has ever seen. My parents and forefathers who were closely associted In Calcutta in the feild of education, culture and trade were also imbibed by the rich tradition of the calcutta legacy for centuries. My personal respect for uttam suchitra is unbounding. to me suchitra is very motherly and adore uttam kumar for his marvelous role as an actor. I have just heard his song and was equally amazed by his rich voice and the depth. If he had lived long he would have also carved a niche as a singer as well. God bless his soul in peace
