| Plenty of features, I use this TV as my main TV and as a secondary PC monitor for my PC. Easy to hook up and to switch from over-the-air signals, to cable to PC and it still has 4 video inputs available. It's a sleek looking unit. |
Watch out for infrared (IR) interference with other devices

| Overall I have been pleased with this TV, until I bought a Roku media player. After buying this player came to realize that whenever the screen is dark, this TV generates IR interference and makes the Roku remote unusable. This means that if the TV is displaying the Roku's dark screen saver then you can't wake up the Roku device with the remote. After researching this issue on the Internet I see that many people are having the same issue with different Samsung TV's interfering with Cable/Sat set top boxes and DVD players. I called Samsung and they won't do anything about this issue because it is out of warranty and not enough people have complained about the issue for "this model" to warrant a recall. |

| I don't know much about televisions, but this one has been great. I've had it for about a year now, no issues. Amazing picture, I haven't seen better. Very thin, looks great in my living room. Nothing bad to say about it at all. |

I bought this tv to replace a smaller LCD tv that I'd had for about a year, and I had high expectations. At the time, I owned all 3 game consoles, and a great computer that I wanted to all be able to display on this TV. If you want to stop reading here, just know that this TV has exceeded my expectations on all levels and is by far still a great TV even 2 years after having it.
I have my xbox 360, my playstation 3, and cable hooked up through hdmi, my wii hooked up through component, my computer hooked up through VGA, and an old nintendo 64 hooked up through composite. All of these work without a hitch, delivering great quality in colors and image quality.
I love this set for the amount of inputs it has, and the high amount of access the consumer gets to alter the image. It has plenty of settings for calibration enthusiasts to mess with so that you can get the best picture you can get. There is a very slight amount of light bleeding in the corners, but you can only see it on a completely black screen, and for that matter, the room has to be pretty dark too, but honestly, this is a miniscule problem that is corrected way better than I've seen before on other brand sets.
The remote is easy enough to use, though I can't say that I used it much since I upgraded to a Harmony One soon after I got my TV.
One thing that I didn't like about the set was how much dust shows up on the set. While you don't notice it so much on the screen itself, you notice it easily everywhere else. I tend to clean it up about once a week to keep it looking good.
After 2 years, It's never broken down on me, and I expect it to continue working for a long while. If you happen to find one of these for a good price, pick it up. You won't regret it. |
