Friends FM, Kolkata (Ananda Bazaar Patrika Group, ABP)

The ABP group is now holding a radio station too. The station was launched on March 2007. The station was launched with the song ” Aha Ki anado Akashe Batashe”. Aamar 106.2 FM, Kolkata
The station “Aamar 106.2″ was launched on May second along with 3 other private radio stations in Calcutta. The station is referred as ” Radio Station Built For Calcutta by Calcuttans”. They are probably the only radio station in Kolkata that plays ONLY Bengali songs. They have “Amar Band Showcase” on every Saturday where they bring new and established band members to share their ideas. Visit their website for more information.
