Really great collection. I was searching for such a website, rich with ample folk songs.
My i put two requests.
1. the songs under subtitle “BANGLA FOLK MUSIC:” are not working properly. can you please look inot it?

2. Can you put this song “Parame Param Jania”, a folk song. I have searched a lot for this song. If you have please put it on this site.

Thank you for your achievement on ‘bangla’ folk song. Try to add personal collection not ‘published on records’. There is another forum for the same on ORKUT. You can enrich the forum on joining there.

I’m doing some research. There is ballet of “Seven beauties” wrote by Gara Garayev (composer from Azerbaijan). There is a dance of Indian beauty in this balllet. It is known that he wrote this piece on the basis of some Bengali folk song. Please, help me to find out which.
