Nachiketa Ghosh - Legendary Music Director
Many of you may not heard about Nachiketa Ghosh, many of you many have. For those who never heard about Nachiketa Ghosh, let me introduce him to you. Nachiketa Ghosh (1924 - 1976) is a legendary music director and composer who has given a new dimention to Bengali Music. He worked as a music director in numerous hit Uttam Kumar movies with Suchitra Sen, Sabitri, Mala Sinha and many more. Most of the time Gauri Prasanna Majumdar was the lyricist for his songs. He also used Pulak Banerjee, Pranab Roy a lot. He was successfully directed music in Bengali films for nearly four decades. Almost all famous playback singers sung for him including Hemanta Mukherjee, Manna Dey, Manabendra Mukherjee, Shyamal Mitra, Arati Mukherjee, Pratima Banerjee, Asha Bhosle, Sabita Banerjee and many more.
