Chandrabindu Album U/A (2008) - Latest Bengali Music Album Review!

Chandrabindu is back though their official website is still down!

Well here is what you need to know:

1. We have a female voice in this album (Let us know her name if you know): Song: Amar Songe Amar Appo Acche
2. There are total of Ten cool songs (some may be not so cool)!
3. Some songs seems like they are just new words wrapped in some old Chandrabindu song.
4. The Album also retains the classic “satire” of typical Chandrabindu Group.

Aninda and Upal are again lead vocalist in this alsum. I always feel Anindya has got slight pronanciation problem is few places as also prominent in other albums. Upal did good job as he is very famous with his “off the track” singing!

Brief review:
Stalin Chilo Dhurto is a song about the politics! Good Song and Upal made it better!
Amar Songe Amar Appo Acche is sung by the same person well known for “Adorer Nauko”. Presentation of this song should have been lot better. Aaj Ke Boss Ami Dibos is not enough!
Khaw Bhabacchaka - another classic typical Chandrabindu where Upal did “SARGAM” just like “Classical Music” You will love this song.
Gaan Dao D Miner is a sad song by Anindya. A typical Anindya Song that will remind you about some old Chandrabindu Songs like “Chole Jacche Din…” etc.
Uthe Jawa Sinri  is another songs by Anindya, you will find out the typical middle class “prem” in this song. “Amar Moddobitto Bhiru Prem test-paper e rakha” probably pointing to a little boy or girl getting ready for HS or Maddhyamik and is in love!
Tobo Mukut Porilo Podotole Hai Eki Dosha is sort of a parody song. Great song and probably the best in this album.
Howra Gele gele gele, Gonga Paar Hotei Hobe is a “Kirton” type song nicely sung by Anindya.
Khacche Khak got very strong lyric but too much of music.
Amra To Kicchu Chaini Aar is okie with some good  lines in it! (Sporsho Kator Sthane Fonra Hole Shenk)

Over all a good album by Chandrabindu but we definite expect much better from them.
